Penerapan PBL Dengan RME Berbatuan Software Geogebra Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Logis Matematik Siswa SMP

Abstract

This research was conducted at 02 Kersamanah Middle School on circle VIII class material. This study uses the Quasi-Experimentation method where the researcher accepts the existence of random sampling. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in mathematical logical thinking skills of students between classes who learned using the GeoGebra assisted RME approach and the class whose learning used the PBL approach. This study used 25 experimental and control class students as samples with the duration of the study consisted of 8 meetings. Based on the posttest and N-Gain data analysis showed that there were significant differences in mathematical logical thinking skills where mathematical logical thinking abilities of students who learned using the GeoGebra-assisted RME approach were better than the class whose learning used the PBL approach. This is because the use of the RME approach provides meaningful learning by looking, searching for, and exploring real objects in the form of mathematics with the help of GeoGebra software.
